Competition
Competition is the core of the Seasonal Cycle. Players race against each other and the clock to prove their mastery.
Leaderboards
Each season, your leaderboard score is calculated from your top 10 highest-scoring descents. Only your best runs are counted — the more you improve, the higher your rank.
Key rules:
- Top 10 descents: Your score is the sum of your 10 best runs in the season. If you complete fewer than 10 qualifying descents, only those count.
- Sandbox and retreats do not count toward the leaderboard.
- Defeats count only if you reach a minimum depth.
- Victories grant additional completion bonuses, with higher bonuses at deeper Ascent Levels.
- Initial difficulty affects scoring: starting with more curses increases your score multiplier.
This system rewards both consistency and peak performance. Running a single great descent is not enough — you need to prove your skill across multiple deep runs.
