Season 1: Veilwood Unsealed is the first official competitive season of Dice or Die.

Following the preparation of the Road to Veilwood, the boundary has finally broken. The forest is no longer just a path; it is an open gateway to the Abyss, and the three sovereignties have begun their full ritual manifestation.

Introduction​

Season Duration: 3 weeks (April 14 - May 5, 2026)

Season 1 marks the full transition into the high-stakes competitive loop. Unlike previous phases, Season 1 features the complete seasonal prize pool, finalized reward tracks, and the introduction of the first Mythic encounters within the deep woods.

The Great Unsealing​

The Manifestation of the Sovereignties

The mists have cleared only to reveal a deeper, more structured corruption. The three hostile sovereignties have claimed their territories:

  • The Mycelial Heart: Governed by Amaninth, where the ground itself remembers your every step and the fungal spread consumes the unwary.
  • The Lunar Spire: Controlled by Luminath, where light is a weapon and the haze creates illusions that can lead a hero to their own demise.
  • The Sanguine Altars: Overseen by Sanguinara, where life is the only currency that matters and the altars demand constant extraction.

A New Danger Manifested​

As the Veilwood unseals, a new and ethereal danger has been revealed. The deep corruption has unleashed the Fury of the Forest, a manifestation of spectral entities that haunt the shifting paths.

These ethereal enemies are more than mere physical threats; they are residues of the Abyss, appearing as shadows and spirits that defy standard combat tactics.

Adaptive Difficulty​

For the most daring and competitive players, the Abyss has developed a new defense mechanism. An adaptive difficulty system will automatically scale the challenge for those leading the scoreboard, ensuring a fair and intense competition for everyone.

In the lore of the Veilwood, this is seen as the Abyss itself recognizing and responding to your strength. Facing this increased pressure is not just a challenge, it is a mark of true honor, as the forest itself moves to defend against your power.

Competitive Play​

Season 1 features two separate leaderboards to better structure the competitive landscape:

  • Global Leaderboard: Open to all participants. Everyone can compete for the rewards listed in the seasonal track.
  • Season Pass Competition: A separate, higher-tier competition specifically for Season Pass holders.

In both cases, your standing is determined by your total Tribute earned. The competitive environment is designed to reward consistency and skill throughout the unsealing phase.
